What can I say? Every time I sit down to read a Lisa Unger book, I know that I will not move and any chores will be forgotten until I get to the last sentence of the book. From the first line of the prologue to the last line, this riveting story captured my heart. The many lives that were affected by a youthful and misplaced judgment continue to determine the adult daily lives of those involved until it comes crashing down. When Maggie’s son’s girlfriend is missing, past secrets come to light and the similarity does not escape those involved. This was an awesome read and I can’t wait to read more from Lisa. My rating: 5 stars
