What is your profession?
Photographer.

Do you have a significant other?
Kind of. It’s complicated. Alright, it’s not complicated. He found out I’m pregnant and has disappeared. But he’s coming back. I hope.

What is his name and profession?
Matt Wilson and he’s a reporter for the Westport Television Network newsroom.

Any children?
*sigh* I have a baby on the way. A bit of a surprise but I’m starting to adjust to the idea.

Do you have any sibling(s)?
Two, Lizzie and Danny.

Do your parents live near you?
Yes. A little bit too close at times.

Who is your best friend?
My brother Danny. He can be as sarcastic as me, loves a bit of harmless gossip, and takes his appearance very seriously. But he’s kind, considerate and the best brother anyone could ever ask for.

Cats, dogs or other pets?
I have a dog. He’s a cross between a Maltese and a who-the-heck-even-knows. He’s a fluffy bundle of goodness.

What town do you live in?
Westport. It’s on the east coast of Queensland, Australia, and is on the beach 🙂

House or building complex? Own or Rent?
I live in an apartment that I have a mortgage on, but every month I get a little bit closer to owning it.

What is your favorite spot in your house?
My balcony. It overlooks the aqua blue river. At night the lights of Westport twinkle into my lounge room and if it’s quiet enough, I can hear the waves crashing the beach.

Favorite meal? Favorite dessert?
Mum bakes when she’s stressed and she’s stressed a lot! To choose a favorite is difficult, but if pushed I’ll go for her chocolate lava cake with thick custard. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Favorite hobby?
Despite the fact that I do it for living, my favorite hobby is photography.

Favorite color?
I love fashion and tend to choose a favorite based on the trend at the moment. Right now, that’s blush pink 🙂

Favorite author?
Janet Evanovich. Stephanie Plum is a hoot.

Favorite vacation spot?
I don’t get to take many vacations, but living at the beach I guess I don’t really need to. I did travel to the UK a few years ago and loved the scenery. And I definitely want to visit Ireland.

Favorite sports team?
Sorry, the only reason I’d watch sport is for the hot bodies, LOL.

Movies or Broadway?
Movies.

Are you a morning or a night person?
Night person. I tend to get my best work done in those last hours of the day.

Amateur sleuth or professional?
A week ago I would have said neither, but after a strange series of events that has taken place, I’m now a very happy amateur sleuth.

Whom do you work with when sleuthing?
My brother Danny.

In a few sentences, what is a typical day in your life like?
Until recently a typical day for me would start with a walk along the beach or a yoga session. Some days I’d even do both. Then I’d visit my family and catch up on chores, before setting about meeting my clients to see what they were looking for in their upcoming photo shoot. The afternoons and evenings were a mix of administration and editing the work that I had previously done. However, my life has changed dramatically in the last two months. I now have a baby on the way and so far it has not been kind to me. Thankfully, I have employed my sister Lizzie to help with the admin which leaves me the time to do the photography and amateur sleuthing. After all, it seems the mystery of my missing boyfriend isn’t going to solve itself.
