Wedding Bell Blues by Lynn Cahoon
Series Name: Tourist Trap Mystery #13
Genre: Cozy

Dru’s very short musing
An upcoming engagement party does not stop a murder that is filled with so many surprises. From the beginning we think we know what’s going on until we discover several facts that added to my reading enjoyment. The mystery was nicely done, and I enjoyed how Jill tried to not stay out of the investigation with her inquisitive nature. A good read overall and I see a wedding in the future.

Batten Down the Belfry by Diane Kelly
Series Name: House-Flipper Mystery #4
Genre: Cozy

Dru’s very short musing
This is another great read in the series which gets better with each book published. I love the aspect of turning their latest flip into a music venue, all is good until a dead body is found on the property. The mystery is well-written with visually descriptive narrative, engaging dialogue and an all-around whodunit that kept me immersed. I love the camaraderie of Buck, Whitney, and her friends and how it plays into the telling of this tale. This was an enjoyable read.

Antique Auctions Are Murder by Libby Klein
Series Name: Poppy McAllister Mystery #7
Genre: Cozy

Dru’s very short musing
Like fine wine, this series gets better and better and I’m so happy to be in the world of Poppy and her friends. Fast-paced and action-packed whodunit that kept me immersed in all that was going on. The author knows how to tell a story with a cleverly written mystery, and I enjoyed watching this play out as the pool of suspect dwindled and only one person was left standing. Good job. I also liked the moments of laughter that made this a fun and excellent read.
