The stolen files are believed to be on the market for sale to the highest bidder. All the evidence points to the files having been stolen b a retired CIA agent.

The President, fearing a mole inside the White House, enlists outsider Youngblood to track down the agent and bring back the files before the encryption can be broken. Youngblood puts together a team of trained and experienced friends and heads out of the country only to discover the files are not where the President thought they were.

Racing against the clock is nothing new for Youngblood, but in chasing the files halfway around the world, he encounters more than one major setback and continuous danger at every turn.

All I can say is “wow.” What a great book that immediately had me immersed in all aspect of this intensifying drama that I could not put down until all was said and done. The visually descriptive narrative painted a picture in my mind with engaging dialogue and a setting that put me on the outskirts of what was happening.

This was a cat and mouse game and at times I didn’t know who was chasing who, but with the dexterity of a cleverly written tale, the author played it well, keeping me engulfed in every detail as the riveting tale unfolded. Always good to see Mary, Billy, Steele and the rest of the game and I do hope we get to see more of Henry and Rosa who are welcome addition to this Youngblood’s world.

The author is at the top of his game in the latest adventures of Donald Youngblood and I for one can’t wait for his next adventures.
